Milled ‘Silver Grey Elm’ – taken from the failed foundations of Waterloo bridge, demolished in 1936. First shown in the exhibition FARADAY’S SYNAPTIC GAP, 8th october 2015 – 12th January 2016, either side of the second Waterloo bridge. The left ear at the National Poetry Library, Southbank Centre; the right ear at the Book Library, the Courtauld Institute of Art, on the north bank of the Thames.
