Bite Marks in Paper

From October 2005 to July 2007 I bit into pieces of paper as a method of narrowing the gap between impetus and output that relied on limited means and no formal training. The result was a series of performative, small-scale, debossed-and-embossed unique prints and a body of photographic works that used the bitten originals as their source.

The photographic works were the basis for an artist book that was published by Nieves Book in Zurich, and an edition Paper / Memory was published. A recently completed archive box contains the complete works and source materials of the project.
