Rick Myers is a Manchester-born artist and writer living in Western Massachusetts. He works in a variety of media including text, video, installation, and drawing, in addition to books and editions.

Solo exhibitions include: The National Poetry Library at Southbank Centre and the Book Library at the Courtauld Institute of Art, London; Printed Matter, New York; White Columns, New York.

Performances and screenings include: The NY and LA Art Book Fairs; MoMA Library, New York; The Onassis Cultural Centre, Athens.

Myers is the founder and publisher of Muta.

A space created in the Prospect Park branch of the Brooklyn Public Library by ASSURGE: where there was an entire shelf of self help books there is now a library in the form of a pile of books in Claudia Weber’s apartment.
